Roy Cape & the Kaiso All Stars
I was at the Island Soul festival at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre on Friday, with my girls. Caught the performances of Roy Cape & the Kaiso All Stars, and, the Mighty Shadow. The Kaiso All Stars were talented and entertaining. The Mighty Shadow was a disappointment. The sound wasn't set right. We could hardly hear him singing. And even so, that's all he did. He's maybe too old to be performing such a high energy show. He may be talented, but he wasn't an entertainer on Friday night. KAS on the other hand -- superb!
