Starting off the long weekend

We went out to the St. Lawrence market yesterday morning, and ending the day in Bloor West, where we got a whiff and taste of Caribana by dining at the Roti Palace. Great food!

The Hot Spot

The girls and I were out, briefly, at Harbourfront Centre tonight. The show wasn't much of a show. We had Tibetan to eat and ice cream cones from the best source -- a local ice cream truck! African music played in the background -- we caught the end of King Sunny Adé's show -- and enjoyed Toronto's diaspora.
